seize the moment

Lots of people use the expression'where did the time go' because time sort of flattens out for a lot of them as they get older.But I think if you don’t just accept reality as a given that can’t be changed,then time slows down because you are there in the moment trying to determine what happens next.
It may kill you before your time but it keep you alive
